His interest in photography as a means of expression evolved from his studies in painting, drawing, and printmaking at the University of California Berkeley.  Following graduation magna cum laude with a degree in Fine Arts, Ken began focusing on the artistic possibilities of photography while earning his master's degree at Cal.</p> <p> Ken taught photography and art courses at the university and junior college levels for 10 years and has been a commercial photographer for over 30 years. He has worked for several publications,  Associated Press in San Francisco and major newspapers in the Bay Area including the San Jose Mercury News.</p> <p> His award winning personal images are part of several public and private collections and have been exhibited extensively in galleries and museums throughout the United States.</p> <p> <br />  </p> <div> </body>
